Directions
- Rub: Mix garlic and red pepper flakes, rub all over drumsticks. Whisk honey, soy sauce, and gochujang into a glaze. Coat the chicken and marinate 10+ mins.
- Prep the pot: Pour broth and onion into the Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside.
- Pressure cook: Arrange drumsticks on the trivet. Seal lid and cook on High Pressure for 12 minutes.
- Release: Natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release the rest.
- Glaze: Remove chicken. Switch to Saute mode, add cornstarch slurry to the pot liquid, and stir until thick and glossy. Pour over chicken.
- Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Pairs perfectly with rice and kimchi.
Pro tip: Not into spicy? Skip the gochujang and red pepper flakes — it's still delicious. Want it crispier? Pop the glazed drumsticks under the broiler for 3 minutes.
