Feeling Like Home
This year’s Lunar New Year carried a weight I hadn't anticipated. Normally, I would be surrounded by my family, celebrating with the traditions that have anchored my life. But this year, I wasn't able to make the trip home. It has been a difficult season—the first year without my grandfather, whose presence always defined our celebrations. In his absence, the house felt a little too quiet, and the distance felt a little too far.
What an honor it was to host a Lunar New Year Party. I decided to host the Fire Horse Edition because I thought why not celebrate with my tango family. You all have no idea how much sentimental meaning this night held for me and I thank each and every one of you for coming and those who wished me luck.
Sharing this space with you and the community was more than I could ever ask for. Thank you for being a part of my life and for making this debut so unforgettable.
The Arrival
The room was vibrant with the energy of new beginnings as we built a bridge to a home thousands of miles away. This vision came to life because Fil, DJ El Johnny, Andrea, Luis, Debbie, Frederic, and so many others dived in with an open hand to help. We didn't just host a party; we created a space that felt exactly like home.
